Archeological Sites
Kokino
The megalith observatory Kokino is located within the area of the municipality “Staro Nagoricane” at about 50 kilometers air line from Skopje, i.e. 35 km from Kumanovo. It is located on the top called “Taticev kamen” and it was named after the closest village Kokino.
Monasters and Churches
St. Naum Ohridski
The monastery St. Naum Ohridski is built on a high rock above the Ohrid lake on its south bench, in an area with rare natural beauty. The construction of this monastery is related to the name of Naum - the Kliment Ohridski’s associate. Naum has also established another monastery, St. Arhangel, where he was buried in year 910. Now his relics are placed in the monastery of St. Naum.
National Parks

Galicnik
It has a potential to develop the rural tourism. The beautiful village Galicnik is the most interesting one, located at the foot heel of Bistra mountain at 1.200 m above the see level. A Galicnik wedding party is held each summer on 12ve of July on the religious holiday “Petrovden”, applying all wedding customs cherished by people called Mijaci, one of the oldest Macedonian tribes.
